This book gave in great detail the beginnings of both Benz and Daimler up to merger in 1926 and then to 2005.

To me this was a really good book. It tells the whole history of Mercedes starting with thir first "horseless cariage" ending with the "SLK-class" It is a very good book. It has many color pictures in it showing you very good detail of all the cars. I suggest this one to everyone.

Rebuilding a Mercedes engine is not all that different from rebuilding a Ford engine, and you'll benefit from having procedures like these described by some of the best talent around. Best part: a section after each chapter with technical questions sent in by owners over the years. It provides insights into these cars (less reliable than you think), their owners (about as wealthy and as particular as you think), and serves as a history of the US models since the Sixties.

If you want to buy a Mercedes roadster this is your first reading. Perhaps it is not the ideal book to know in detail each model described, but it is a pleasant reading rich of tips and hints. Worth the buy.

This book gives an up-close look at Mercedes-Benz roadsters, convertibles, and two-and four-seat coupes from the mid-1950s to present. The book is very helpfull!
